I had a molar that my regular dentist couldn't get a root canal finished up on and he referred me to Dr. Meder. It was a great thing this happened it tuned out. Sara (Dr. Meder's assistant) and Dr. Meder got me in and out in record time. The whole deal only took an hour. Sara warned me to make sure and take Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain I would experience afterwards and gave me a paper with all the instructions (by the way the whole procedure was pretty much painless). I did feel a little discomfort after the local anesthetic wore off. I decided to take one of my Tylenol 3's that was leftover from a previous dental procedure, and that took care of the pain (I'm sure regular Tylenol would have worked just as well). I am in no way advocating the use of opiates, I never over use them. I believe we have enough opiate addicts in this country and I have no intention of ever becoming the next one! At this point (the next morning after the day of the procedure) I have not had to take any other pain medication and I feel pretty much back to normal. I can barely tell something happened in that area of my mouth. I ate breakfast without any pain. I was also warned I probably won't be able to chew on the side of my mouth where the root canal took place for some time to come but I have been chewing on both sides without any issues! As I stated above I feel like everything is back to normal. Three cheers to Dr. Meder and Sara!!! Great job!!!

Dr. Jeffrey Lilly was amazing during my root canal, explaining things in clear detail and talking me through the entire process in regards to what I should expect as he switched tools. All in all about as good of an experience as you could hope for out of a root canal - Thank you!

(Having a root canal is something you don't want or look forward to, but when it's a necessity and with no other choice, this is the place). Pain free procedure and professionally done. I have had two root canals in the last 30 days by Dr. Meder. She and her staff were very pleasant and helpful. There was ZERO pain. There is absolutely no reason to be afraid of a root canal. The worst part is you are still numb after the procedure for about an hour or so and may spill on yourself while drinking, but it gives everyone else a laugh.
