Marci Simpson Neary, Business Manager
Marci Simpson Neary is the business manager for the practice. She joined
Drs. Leuck, Jungmann, and Krell in 1992. They were originally at 534 42nd
Street in Des Moines, Iowa. In 1998, the doctors built a new building in West
Des Moines and in July of that year, Dr. Ty Erickson and Dr. Jeff Lilly joined
the practice. In 2008, Dr. Leuck and Dr. Jungmann retired from the practice and
Drs. Thomas Becker and Gary Matt arrived. On July 1, 2009 Dr. Lindsey Meder
joined the practice also.
Marci enjoys the day to day variety of her
position. She managed a law firm for eight years before coming to Endodontics,
P.C. Her duties are multi-functioning to include all aspects of the financials
of the professional corporation, people-managing for the practice, and
facilities management. She says, “It is a pleasure to work with such
a wonderful group of doctors who are so caring and proficient in their
specialty of dentistry.” |

About the Staff
Each doctor
has two chairside dental assistants. Each assistant “owns” her own
operatory which means she is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and seating
the doctor’s next patient.
Because the practice is an emergency
based practice, many days are very busy to see all those who are in discomfort
and need root canal therapy to save their teeth.
Four patient care
assistants staff the front office. They are trained to handle any aftercare
calls from the patients. They work with the doctor to provide any additional
