Michael H. Leuck, D.D.S., M.S.



Dr. Michael Leuck was born in Des Moines and has lived in Iowa most of his life. After graduating from Muscatine High School in 1963, Dr. Leuck attended Notre Dame undergraduate college and then the University of Iowa Dental School. After graduating dental school in 1969, he spent two years in the Navy in Long Beach, California. He returned to Iowa Dental School to receive his certificate in endodontics and his Masters Degree. He taught endodontics full time at the University of Iowa for three years and then practiced in Spokane, Washington, for one year before returning to Iowa to practice in Des Moines since 1974.

Dr. Leuck has twice been a featured speaker at the Iowa Dental Association annual meeting, has been a speaker in several other states, and was on a panel at the American Association of Endodontists meeting in Tampa in 2002. He organized, and was a charter member and president of the Iowa Association of Endodontists for 16 years. He also held the office of president of the Des Moines District Dental Association and the G.V. Black Study Club.

Dr. Leuck and his wife, Valerie, have three children, Daniel, Katherine, and Anne-Marie. They live in West Des Moines and are 30-year members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

In his spare time, Dr. Leuck enjoys family activities, golf, fishing and traveling.
